I'm inclined to believe this statement of Galileo's.
Many times I see that what we are supposed to teach is not being learned at the pace we want them to learn. Some kids just don't realize that they ... ahem ... I mean the teacher.... has a pacing guide to follow... !??!
Hmmmm... something is very unfair about that.

Bea, you always bring a smile to my face. "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day...teach a man to fish and you feed him for life." Not quite sure who said that, but it applies. You do a wonderful thing teaching these children. I'm quite sure you make a big difference in their lives.
