Thanks to Journal Editor Joe's help, I was able to read his instructions on how to post a picture to my journal. Today is the first day you see my picture in the About Me column to the left. The photo is not recent... it was taken 18 months ago... I will try to update it now that I know how to do this.
I hope to apply this new skill (adding larger pictures) to future entries. I enjoy using the aol pictures window... the slideshow feature is a fun way to view several pictures. But sometimes I just have one picture, and I want it big.

apologies to those of you who received two journal alerts on this entry... I had to edit after I had saved it. Even so, I see another typo, but I'm going to leave it in to spare you from getting 3rd alert! bea
Glad to help -- FYI, Journal new entry alerts only go out when the entry is first created/published, not during edits, so edit as much as you like. Thanks. -- Joe

Oh, good! I didn't want to complain, but my dial-up hates the AOL Pictures, especially on View Larger. For about a year, many of the photos would disappear from my window the instant they finished loading, never to return. I'd much rather see your pictures directly in the entry! - Karen
