Yes, it's definitely spring!

How lovely to get home by 4:30 this afternoon and walk barefooted about the yard, taking photos of springtime wonder until the camera batteries died out, while Misty tracked some critter into the old, long-unused dog house, and Max faithfully followed my every step.

There is no better day than Friday, and no better Friday than the one on the verge of a ten-day vacation time called Spring Break! The excitement buzzed through our halls all the day long. Teachers seemed more tolerant of the noise level in the cafeteria, some classrooms held egg hunts, while others used the last hour of the school day for spring cleaning.

VBS workshop training tomorrow morning. Can't wait. Lots to do. Will return tomorrow.

Oh, I am envious! I felt just the way you did this time last week! Your spring break is just beginning and mine is just ending!! The weather has been great here too. Yesterday was absolutely hot. I had all of the windows open for awhile, but finally had to turn on the AC!!
It is much cooler today, but everything is starting to green up and blossom.

Oh, enjoy and relish the time off.  It will pass all too quickly.  Since our kids have already had spring break, they only have Good Friday off.  Partly to make up hurricane days too.  Hannah gets to hunt Easter eggs at school next Tuesday.  -  Barbara

Lovely pictures, Bea.  It's gray and yukky here today - we had storms all day yesterday and today the high is going to be 53.  Whoopie!  :)

Enjoy your spring break.  Spring break, Chrismas break and Summer break are the only times I envy you teachers!  I admire you ALL so much for giving to our children.  (((HUGS)))  Gwynn

Bea,  I love the pictures.  I lived in Maryland for 11 year and was blessed with flowering trees and shurbs.  Here in the mountains of Colorado spring seems to last about a week.  Thank you for sharing.  David

Isn't it fun to find treasures with the digital camera. I have become more attuned to the flowers, wild or not when using my digital camera. I guess it has to do with the low cost to see the results as well as the immediate gratification of immediate visualization. I really love the one of the violets beside the shovel. Homey.
have a wonderful day.
