Sunday Dinner on the Stove

I'm making Country Style steak for Sunday dinner today. One of Steve's favorites. Other favorite is fried chicken. We're having mashed potatoes and pinto beans on the side, with peaches for dessert.

Y'all come!

Yummy!  You cook like I do Bea!   Down home southern cookin'!  I make my mashed potatoes like that too!  Not all the time, but for special occasions, I like to add the Carnation Evaporated milk.  Makes them taste so creamy and good.  Have you ever tried also adding a hunk of cream cheese to them?  Mash, and then put them in a 8 x 12 pan, sprinkle with grated cheese and pop in the over till the cheese is melted.  Granted that's a bit more fancy, but you should try it sometime!!

Oh... by the way!  I'm putting my shoes on.. I'll be right over!  hee
