Discovery quote

The real voyage of discovery consists not in exploring new landscapes, but in having new eyes.

Wally Amos, 20th century American Entrepreneur

And this one found in my Turning Points journal as well. In response to Donna's comment. It is about seeing things with new eyes, isn't it?

Another good one!  You do have to look at things differently.  I am finding that out as the days go by.

The author of this quote is speaking about our inner eyes, spiritual eyes, the eyes of the soul. I believe that even blind people have such eyes. Lilkewise, the new landscapes can be referring any place, abstract or physical. A person could be on a spiritual journey, and be exploring new landscapes in this way. Sometimes we should look beyond what we see with our eyes. We need to see with our hearts. Bea
