Five Weird Things... Getting Tagged is Weird!

I've been tagged.

Having never been tagged before, I'm going to follow the footsteps of those taggees who have gone before me.

Lots of weird things about me that I'm wondering if I should even mention them, but others have already done it... and this may very well be my last public confession!

This is what happens when you go journal hopping for the week you are off from school.

Barbara tagged me, so here are my five weird things, followed by five more journalers I'm going to tag. Thanks, Barb. You gotta love her!

1. I leave dirty dishes in the sink and wash them later, unless somebody else washes them first.

2. I wear sleeveless tops throughout the winter (it's hot where I work).

3. I love playing with clay, play-dough, sculpey, and sometimes I make things and give them away. Whenever I open a new can of play-do, the smell immediately transports me to the first time I ever played with play-do, when I was about 7 years old on an ocean liner traveling back to the U.S. from England with my family (mom was pregnant with #6, and doctors recommended the boat trip instead of the plane trip).

4. I love taking naps on Sunday afternoons and other days off (although this week I haven't done that as much as I thought I would because I've been so involved in rearranging my "work/office/sanctuary room".

5. I buy pop-up picture books, paper dolls, and Crayola crayons. For myself, and anyone who comes by to visit is welcome to look at (or play with) them. (I'm still just a kid inside.) That is very weird!

Forgive me for the final weirdness ... I'm going to pass this on to five others, most of whom I've only known less than 2 weeks. I hope everyone sees the humor in this and doesn't cut me off from their journal alerts! LOL!

I'm tagging Natalie, Lori, Donna, Dave, and Cathy.

And if you ladies and gentleman have already done it, just link us to that entry!!

Happy New Year 2006!

Bea

Oh, I like your answers!!  I too tend to leave dishes in the sink.  I say I am soaking them.....but I think I am secretly waiting for the dish fairy.    And I LOVE the smell of a new box of crayola crayons and a good coloring book with the larger pictures.  -  Barbara

I like silly putty- whenever I open one of those 'eggs', I'm back to being 6 again!  I also love pop up books!  Not wierd at all to be like a kid.  It's what keeps us young!  Have a happy new year!  Carolyn
